🌿 Baby Epipremnum Care Guide
Epipremnums are some of the easiest and most rewarding houseplants to grow. Loved for their trailing vines and vibrant foliage, they are fast-growing, adaptable, and perfect for beginners.
🌞 Light
Thrives in bright, indirect light
Tolerates lower light, though growth will slow
Variegated varieties need brighter light to maintain colour
Avoid harsh direct sun, which may scorch leaves
✨ Tip: More light = stronger variegation and faster growth.
💧 Watering
Water when the top 3–5 cm of soil feels dry
Allow excess water to drain freely
Avoid keeping soil constantly wet
Epipremnum prefers to dry slightly between waterings.
🌱 Soil
Use a well-draining indoor mix such as:
Potting soil
Perlite or pumice
Optional: orchid bark for extra airflow
🪴 Pot Size
Babies do best in a small pot with drainage holes
Repot only once roots begin to outgrow the pot
Epipremnum enjoys being slightly snug in its container
🌡 Temperature & Humidity
Ideal range: 18–28°C
Average indoor humidity is usually sufficient
Higher humidity encourages larger, lusher leaves
Protect from cold drafts below 15°C
🌿 Fertilizer
Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer
Use a balanced liquid fertilizer at ½ strength
Pause feeding in cooler months
✂️ Growth & Maintenance
Regular pruning encourages bushier growth
Can be trained to trail, climb, or grow on a moss pole
Easy to propagate from cuttings in water or sphagnum moss

Occasionally susceptible to:
Spider mites

Inspect leaves regularly and treat early if needed.

📦 Postage & Shipping Information
All plants are carefully prepared and packaged to ensure they arrive safely and in excellent condition.
Orders are lovingly packed and dispatched on Mondays only, to help ensure they arrive before the following weekend, as our shop is closed on Tuesdays.
To ensure same-week dispatch, orders must be placed by midnight Sunday.
If Monday falls on a public holiday, dispatch will not take place until the following Monday. While we always do our best to send orders promptly, should any unexpected lengthy delays occur, we’ll be in touch to let you know.
Shipping Options
Bare Root Shipping (Most Economical Option):
Soil is mostly removed to reduce weight, and roots are wrapped in either sphagnum moss or damp shredded paper.
Potted Shipping (Where Possible):
Plants may be sent in their original nursery pots with soil intact. Shipping is calculated by weight, making this option more expensive, however plants will arrive less stressed with no need to pot them up on arrival.
Simply select your preferred shipping method at checkout.
Please note: Due to plant import restrictions, we are only able to ship to WA, NT, or TAS if prior arrangements have been made.
