We generally send plants on Mondays and Tuesday to avoid the parcels sitting at the post office over the weekend. Occasionally though we will need to also send on a wednesday ie. after a long weekend or in extremely busy periods.
The packing process takes time, so in order for us to process your order for postage the following Monday/Tuesday we have had to implement an order cut off time of 9am Friday for all succulents and 9am Mondays for all indoor plants. We take great pride in the packaging of our plants to ensure they arrive safely with no/minimal damage.
RESTRICTED STATES
Unfortunately we currently can not directly post post to WA, NT or TAS due to quarantine requirements, however there are several plant concierge businesses that specialise in shipping to quarantine states. If you would like to use one of these services we will directly ship your plants to them and they will prepare your plants and documents and forward them to you. Please contact us if you would like us to organise this for you. It will usually be $100 plus per order.
Postage costs
We are pleased to announce that we are now able to offer you both bare root and plants sent in pots options. Once you have finalised your purchase and are at the check out you will see the option to either have your plants sent bare rooted or in pots. We have 3 size boxes available for sending potted plants. We Recommend considering the pot sizes you have chosen to maximise your postage cost and minimise the damage to plants. Unfortunately 100mm and 130mm pots are quite bulky so if you only want a small number of plants they are a great option but if you want to maximise your shipping and buy ALL the plants we have a guide below on how to best do this. We may need to send plants 100mm and above bare rooted to ensure they fit within the parcel and keep postage costs reasonable.
Box size 1. 410 x 300 x 80mm This box Can perfectly fit 5 x 80mm round pots or 6 x 66mm square pots. Below is an example of how this box will be packed with 5 x 80mm pots. This Parcel costs $23.45 to post.
Box Sixe 2. 390 x 280 x 140mm This Box can perfectly fit up to 12 x 66mm square pots or 3 x 100mm round pots OR 2 x 130mm round pots. The total cost to send this size box is also $23.45 to post express post.
Box Size 3. 440 x 277 x 168 This box can perfectly fit 10 x 80mm round pots or 5 x 80mm plus 6 x 66mm squares. This box is $25.40 to post express post.
PLEASE NOTE: As you are probably aware Australia Post no longer guarantees next day delivery and postage delays are possible. Our plants are packaged very well and can last a week or more without being severely impacted, however we can unfortunately not take responsibility for delayed or lost or damaged parcels. They will automatically be covered for up to $150 value if they are lost so you will need to lodge a claim with Australia Post in this unfortunate instance.
