🌿 Baby Syngonium Care Guide (Arrowhead Plant — Albo, Pink, Neon, Mojito & More) Syngonium are versatile, easy-care tropical plants loved for their arrow-shaped leaves, climbing or trailing growth habit, and stunning colour variations. Baby Syngoniums establish quickly and are an excellent choice for both beginners and collectors. With bright light, gentle watering, and a well-draining mix, they grow beautifully indoors. 🌞 Light Prefers bright, indirect light Tolerates medium light conditions Variegated and pink varieties need brighter light to maintain colour Avoid harsh direct sun, which can scorch delicate leaves ✨ Tip: More light encourages stronger variegation and fuller growth. 💧 Watering Water when the top 2–4 cm of soil begins to dry Keep soil lightly moist, but never soggy Ensure pots have drainage holes Reduce watering slightly during cooler months ⚠️ Overwatering can lead to root rot, especially in baby plants. 🌱 Soil Syngonium thrive in a well-draining aroid-style mix, such as: Premium potting soil Perlite or pumice Orchid bark or coco chips for airflow Optional: a small amount of sphagnum moss for moisture balance A chunky mix supports healthy roots and faster growth. 🪴 Pot Size Babies do best in a small pot (2–4 inches) Avoid overpotting, as excess soil holds moisture too long Repot once roots begin filling the pot Syngonium enjoy being slightly snug. 🌡 Temperature & Humidity Ideal temperature: 18–28°C Protect from cold drafts and temps below 15°C Enjoy moderate to high humidity, especially for larger leaves Average indoor humidity is usually sufficient ✨ Tip: Higher humidity encourages more vibrant foliage and faster growth. 🌿 Fertilizer Feed during spring and summer growth Use a balanced liquid fertilizer at ½ strength Fertilize every 4–6 weeks Pause feeding in autumn and winter Gentle feeding is best for babies. ✂️ Growth & Maintenance Syngonium can trail, climb, or be trained on a moss pole Pruning encourages bushier growth Rotate occasionally for even development Remove yellowing leaves with clean scissors ✨ Tip: Mature Syngonium leaves may become more deeply lobed over time. 🐛 Pests to Watch For Syngonium may occasionally attract: Spider mites Thrips Mealybugs Inspect leaves regularly, especially underneath, and treat early if needed. ⚠️ Pet Safety Syngonium are toxic if ingested, so keep out of reach of pets and children. 📦 Postage & Shipping Information All plants are carefully prepared and packaged to ensure they arrive safely and in excellent condition.
